REFRIGERATION

Dennis Group offers a custom tailored approach for refrigeration systems that is seamlessly coordinated with the building, mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines. We’ve executed more than 300 refrigeration projects to date. Our diverse work has included single- and two-stage ammonia, glycol packaged chillers and carbon dioxide cascade. COMPRESSED AIR

Compressed air is a critical element in any modern food plant, and we’ve worked in all applications from mechanical to packaging and processing. We consider capacity requirements and ensure that the correct systems are in place to adhere to food safety standards in high-care areas where air is coming in contact with ready-to-eat food.


STEAM AND HOT WATER

Food production often requires heat from both a mechanical perspective and for the process/production itself. Depending upon the facility, we’ve developed combustion systems ranging from boilers (steam and hot water) to water heaters (direct or indirect).


 

WASTEWATER PRE-TREATMENT

Dennis Group has designed wastewater pretreatment systems for a range of contaminants. This includes food solids filtered out through mechanical pre-screening (vegetables, fruits, grains, etc.). Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and biological aerobic/anaerobic treatments have been implemented to reduce biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), suspended solids (SS) or fats, oils and grease (FOG).
