FSPCA Intentional Adulteration Conducting Vulnerability Assessment

1 Day, 8 Hour Course

This live-virtual instructor-led course is designed to teach individuals the requirements for conducting a vulnerability assessment under the Mitigation Strategies to Protect Food Against Intentional Adulteration (IA) regulation of the FDA. The goal of the IA rule (21 CFR 121) is to prevent acts of intentional adulteration intended to cause wide-scale harm to public health.  Become qualified to conduct vulnerability assessments using the Three Elements Method during this one-day session which incorporates examples and exercises as part of the curriculum.

Students will learn how to:

  • conduct a vulnerability assessment using the three elements method
  • identify significant vulnerabilities
