Lunar New Year

Tuesday February 1

Xīnnián kuàilè! The Lunar New Year marks new year celebrations for many East Asian countries. The holiday involves at least a week of preparation prior to New Year's Day, followed by two weeks of feasts, family visits, and merrymaking. Traditions often center around clearing away the previous year's bad luck and preparing home and family to receive the new year's good luck. Here's hoping the new year brings fortune and good health to us all.
